About Dr. Zarling: CV

Meet Dr. Zarling

Dr. Zarling is a Chicago suburb native. He completed his medical school at Chicago Medical School where he met his wife. After medical school he completed his training in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Detroit Medical Center where he was exposed to a wide range of orthopaedic trauma, sports injuries and complex arthroplasty surgery. He then specialized in total joint replacement at the University of Chicago where he focused on minimally invasive techniques, robotic assisted surgery and managing complex revision surgery.  His research has been published and presented at national meetings. He has received recognition for his outstanding contributions in the field of joint replacement and healthcare quality improvement.

Dr. Zarling and his wife now have 3 children. They are excited to be back in the Chicago suburbs and share their medical expertise.

Dr. Zarling's philosophy is to first educate his patients on their condition and then share in the decision making by offering the most advanced evidence based treatments.
